I am a 'twenty-something' with a love for all things food. I was a "good eater" from a young age. I liked to eat, but as a little girl I also had the typical abhorrence for Brussels sprouts, broccoli or other green things. Meanwhile, the love of food is happily supplemented by a great interest in health and sports. This combination gave me the idea in 2018 to start a food blog. That's how Cook a lot was born! Recipes with a focus on a healthy balance between comfort food and healthy choices, that is what cookalot stands for. Balance is key!
